AMU student receives William J Clinton Fellowship to design communication strategy at skills training centers

Mantasha Khaleel, who completed Masters in Social Work and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), will now move to Hyderabad, Telangana to design communication strategy for engaging illiterate and semi illiterate women and children at skills training centres.

She has received the William J Clinton Fellowship 2019-20 of the American Indian Foundation in a recent drive conducted by the Training and Placement Office-General of the University.

“The said Fellowship for Service in India pairs a select number of professionals with credible NGOs and social enterprises to accelerate impact and create effective projects that are replicable, scalable, and sustainable,” said Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General).
